wave lights (2025)

The series of lighting objects was created as a continuation of the ‘Head Lights’ project, where the main role was played by the contrast between the wire skeleton, blown glass and neon tube. ‘Wave Lights’ define their shape with cut sheet metal profiles. They strive for repetition and seriality of machine-made products. Referring to the industrial lighting of DIY workshops, garages and basements, they boast their decorated edging, through which high-quality Czech glass expands. Emil, otherwise a creator of solitary objects, thus dared to take a step towards a serial product.

presented at bratislava design week, September, 2025 and designblok prague, October, 2025
